New website design wanted for The Birdy

The Birdy

The Birdy emails you once a day, asking "What did yo buy today?" You reply with your purchases, tagging them like twitter, and we track your spending for you.

See the existing homepage. The content will stay the same, but the design needs detail and polish. I'd like to see alternative ways to lay the content out. The design should be clean, simple and inviting. Please do not use big areas of black. I don't think it's friendly.

The homepage should make people want to register, for free. The top should show screenshots, and have a button indicating there's a video to watch.

Below there are bullet points of the benefits:

* knowledge is power
* safe and secure

There needs to be an area for reviews and ratings we've received, and testimonials.

Finally, we feature our "Story".

And of course the homepage needs our birdy! You could put him in a couple places.

Our users are lightly web-savvy post-college professionals, and couples. They're intelligent and want to be feel responsible, in control and/or grown up. They're busy, social and engaged. We've reached people all over the world, primarily in the US, and South America.
