Our website is for a start up that provides a matching type of service for insurance brokers/agencies/companies and independent contractors who represent our firm and provide the work that our customers need. Projects can be temporary, short term, or long term. We are different than a staffing company. We are not a head hunter or a recruiter, we put a strong emphasis on this being a contractor and remote worker setup.

The logo from our existing sites was created by a designer from 99designs.com. Our website(s) were created by one of our team members. Our web designer will ultimately be the one managing our site but we're looking for a fresh idea or two that might take our site to a different level of professionalism or help us to better position our message. What we like about our current sites is the background being in whites, grays, etc. Colors used in addition to black should only be those built into our logo. If designer wanted to reverse the look of our site and were it's white, turn it to black while still mixing in our logos color and shades of gray, we are open to that. The site will have links to "portals" where both our insurance customers and our insurance contractors will "log in" to our site. The site's home page should also leave room for a preview area or for blogging or other social media integration. The call to action on our site will remain some type of webform (you don't need to design this) that will call the visitor to briefly register for our site or tell us more about them. We will use the template you are building to be in WordPress.

Currently we have two sites that market to our two audiences (employers and workers). The agency/company audience could visit www.ciagencies.com. The professional contractor would visit www.remoteinsurancepros.com. Using this contest we will combine the two sites, and therefore audiences, into one site - www.remoteinsurancepros.com. The new combined site will "combine" both sites. We're setting up this contest to obtain a fresh new design to accomplish what we're doing by combining the sites. The "home" page must give the visitor the ability to designate if they are an "employer" or "employee." I'm not sure those will be exactly what we'll use to differentiate the site visitors, but for now you understand. Once the visitor identifies which they are, they'll view pages that will speak to their audience's needs and questions. Content page should be flexible and include various typography, stylistic elements, module highlights, and form elements that all tie into the design. A winning design will show fluidity and a flexible dynamic layout.
