KROKIFANT will be an online-market where parents can sell and buy used childrens cloothes or other things. Parents who want to sell or buy will have to register and login.
The portal doesn't already exist. But there is already a logo (see attached file).
The portal should make it easier for parents to sell or buy (brand) clothes of their children.
Children can often wear cloothes only some months. Clothes then are often like new and can be weared again by other children.
Parents of children (age 0 - 12 years), familiar with internet. Like to shop online. Like fashion, but don't like to pay a lot of money for new clothes.
Parents sell their childrens cloothes today often in forums. This is not very user-friendly. Krokifant wants to give an alternative.
The shop should be easy to use and bring a big portion of humour and fun. It should get a modern face, clear, friendly and colorful (see colors of logo).
We need following navigation:
- for user (if he is logged-in, where he can edit his data, upload new clothes, see his cart etc.)
- about us (information about the portal, contact and so on)
- for later (tabs etc.) some article groups (on launch there will only be "clothes" but later there can something be added, eg. baby accessories), this must be mandatory for the layout (must look nice with and without)
Login should be possible on each page (user / password form on each page).
On homepage there should be a searchform (only searchtext), category list and some offers (articles from the catalog per random).
nice-to-have: if the Krokifant (see logo) could be used as mascot, or Krokifant or flower will repeat somewhere in layout
Please use "Der Flohmarkt-Shop für Eltern" under Logo - see image under http://www.krokifant.de
Please design homepage. It should have a content area, so the design can be used with other content for other pages of the portal.
Please let your fantasy flow on designing the homepage (fill it with content).
http://www.booklooker.de - navigation is good, layout could be more modern
http://www.mailchimp.com - nice (see subpages): same header on each page, clear design, modern (3d, shadows), not so good: homepage should be similar to subpages
http://www.tripit.com - most important things in navigation in page footer, very clear design (but a little more playful is allowed :))
http://www.spoonflower.com/welcome - I like the prominent demonstration of the logo and the images which appear like hand-drawn
