Florida Brad got their new web page design by running a design contest:
website design for bSaving.com
Check out Florida Brad's Web page design contest…
We currently allow users to discover, share and print coupons for stores throughout the web. bSaving.com will move from being a simple coupon code cut and click site to a more in-depth blog style site for deals and savings. WordPress will be used for the posting platform on bSaving.com. We will drive up social traffic and sign ups by integrating Facebook Comments boxes throughout the site. We are making these necessary changes to bSaving.com in order to increase our social traffic and overall website subscription base.
http://womanfreebies.com: >> I really like their blog style coupon/deal/saving offerings and the ability to like every post. >> I also like how it is really easy to register for the site. In addition, I like how the social media buttons are really in the forefront at the top of the page. >> I like that users have the ability to leave comments on every post. >> I don't feel the overall design is well put together at all. http://www.coupondealsdaily.com: >> As with http://womanfreebies.com I really like their blog style offerings. >> I really like how they have an entire suite of site tools (facebook like, Twitter Tweet, Google + 1, an RSS button and share button) on top and below each post on the homepage. >> I like the latest Tweets component >> I like how you can select coupons/deals by category >> I don't feel the overall design is well put together at all. http://www.getitfree.us: >> Site is very similar to http://womanfreebies.com. >> I like how they have pagination navigation at the top and bottom of their page, however I would prefer to see something like << Previous 10 | Next 10 >> rather than Older and Newer. >> I don't feel the overall design is well put together at all. http://neatrewards.com: >> I would like to see a large clean photo background like we have on NeatRewards.com. Please focus the images on high-end electronics, travel, jewelry and clothing. Overall Design of the new bSaving.com: Needs to combine the style of the current registration link on bSaving.com --http://register.bSaving.com/DefaultPage.aspx?nm=01y7dfe6utxi -- with the clean format of NeatRewards.com -- http://neatrewards.com/index.php/auth/login.
The homepage will be the main hub for displaying the most recent blog style posts for Online Coupons, Freebies, Deals, Grocery Coupon, Printable Coupon and Daily Deals. Content: There will probably be total of 10 posts or so as the main content on the homepage. I would also like to see several social media elements on the page, including a call to action to join us on Facebook and Twitter. In addition I would like to several sharing elements and an RSS button on the homepage. Goal: To create an easy to use beautiful site that will drive up our social traffic and overall website subscription base and usage. Please see the attached requirements document for additional info.
WordPress will be used for the posting platform on bSaving.com. We are not married to the current bSavings.com logo and/or color scheme. Please feel free to alter the logo and color scheme in your design.
