Benefits of using indeks - All business documents are filed in a consistent manner, business will be able to get back their documents when they need them.
Page /Section 2 - How it works:
A short workflow that conveys to users how indeks works, open to ideas on the best way to convey this, expanded detail from the homepage infographic
Briefly the workflow is -
1. Upload the document (drag and drop or email (or if a Sharp Corp customer via the OSA on one of their photocopiers - This Sharp ref doesn't have to be on the website)
2. Indeks the document - Document indexing attributes are set by the user when they create a document type. (doc types can also be related to groups for additional user function)
3. Search and retrieve docs based on indexed fields. Docs can be downloaded, emailed (one time link from within indeks) or printed.
Documents can be grouped - to truncate doc type fields and to assist user management.
Users also have the option to Upload a document as sensitive, enabling a limited view of these docs in terms of who can view them for indeksing purposes. This is relevant for payroll - HR contracts etc. You may not want the admin clerk to see all of these.
All users views/actions/retrievals are logged against each document.
Add notes. Users can add notes against documents that have been archived. These are held in the system.
Indeks provides for multiple locations if required for each instance.
