Quote-review is a website dedicated to quotes and quotations. We strive to create a place on the internet where you can have an experience with quotes, sayings, phrases, etc. that will take you to a next level where quotes are explained, discussed, enjoyed, reviewed in a social way, creating an elevated knowledge or experience of quotes.
We are a small business startup and what you see on our website is what we can -;) so working with us as a designer can become a regular source of fun work.
For the current website please see http://www.quote-review.com
Targeted audience are basically all literate, english reading persons worldwide, interested in what is said and often how it is said.
The website needs to be accesible for all kinds of audiences within the above mentioned target.
An ideal user would be someone who reads, adds, reviews and communicates to friends with quotes, probably implying a medium educated person.
At the same time, we also want to attract a more wide audience of people looking for an ideal quote to use for a specific occasion (speech, article, etc.).
There's an existing market for this website, which has fierce competition. We have collected some of them for you in the requirements section.
The website currently contains all features that we need. The design and layout give a chaotic impression, people don't have a good overview / clarity on what they can do and how.
Some keywords that we like to reflect in the website are: readable, clean, straightforward, elegant, inviting, focused.
- Look and feel Web 2.0.
- Clear call to action.
- Positioning of objects and blocks can be modified.
- Content per page needs to be maintained, but can be resized. Exception is possible, and page height can be increased if needed.
- Buttons need to be redesigned.
- Fonts can be changed.
The website is build using css style-sheets, with php coding. What you need to deliver is the images, fonts and mockups with the exact dimension of the page. If you can deliver style sheets, let us know, it's not included in this project.
