How robmacjen started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
The Lucky Greek
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The website will be a place where customers can come and see our menu, get directions to our restaurant, order online (through a link to our partners at Grubhub.com) and reload and check their balances on our new Lucky Card rewards/gift card program (through a link to the rewards program website). We are a fast food location that targets families and business professionals.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
I like the fun quirky way the Grubhub.com website is layed out. It is a fun layout. We are a mom and pop burger place focusing on fresh made to order food for the whole family. Like an old school retro look. Also something I could easily change prices on in the future.
We need a home page that allows our customers to quickly click to our online ordering, an area to check/reload their rewards card account status, a link to our facebook page and an area for specials and special events. Our hours and a map.
The internal page would allow the customer to see our menu and also link to online ordering if they would like to order (using Grubhub at luckygreekburgers.net)
What to avoid
I don't like clutter and want it to be easy for customers to easily find the information they are looking for. Don't want the over played 50's theme. Our name has Greek in it, but we are mainly American fast food. I don't want to get stuck in the "only serve Greek food" category.
