We are a healthcare focused data services company, and while we have a good number of very talented web programmers and database analysts, we do not have a top flight graphical designer who can create knock-your-socks-off site design mockups and user interface (UI) schemes. We have awarded winners in three contests in the recent past and fully expect to award a winner in this contest. The winning design will be integrated into our flash based web application, but we do not need code written as part of this deliverable, we just need your design help.
Treo University is a reference library that will be integrated in our business intelligence solution. It contains all sorts of reference material that provide context for our users. It will include user documentation, reference guides, report guides, glossaries, etc. that will enable our users to better understand and interpret their data. We would like a design that is:
- easy and intuitive to navigate through the hierarchy of content
- visually appealing
- consistent with other areas of our Flash based application, such as the report libraryWe will continue to add content as our site grows. For now, here is a screenshot showing some of the content in an html mock up of TreoU.
The content in each branch typically includes:
- a brief introduction, ranging from one sentence to a couple paragraphs
- one or more attachment(s) such as case studies, user guides, glossaries, etcWe have provided a link to our site here, where you can see a TreoU demo in a simple HTML page with a tree control. On the page, just click on the plus (+) sign by 'PPA Demo' to see the topic areas:
The attachments (pdf’s) on this demo site are not live, so you cannot open them. In our final design, clicking on a pdf will just open it in a new Adobe Reader window.
We are also providing a couple screen shots of our Flash application interface. This is where TreoU will be integrated. We are looking for you to provide the design for presenting this information in the application. The circled Treo University tab is where this design will be placed.
Here is a screen shot of the Report Library interface:
All this information can be found in a pdf on our web site:
Please ask questions if we have not been clear on anything.
