How marisa.dezara started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Heady Neddies & Co
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We sell glass pipes and other merchandise (graphic prints, posters, etc) to smokers and glass enthusiasts.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Mainly a white background with a very minimalist feel; hints of green wherever you see fit would be ideal. Must be art-driven with an emphasis on the products. I would like it to be sleek, focused, and very user-friendly. Nothing over-complicated, (yet nothing too simple to where it is boring). It has to be balanced--color-wise and product-wise--and inviting. Any textures and shapes are welcomed. Fonts I would like: Existence, amatic, quicksand
Homepage: This page should be welcoming and directional; should serve as a page that will direct costumers where to search and browse for products. Goal of this page is to capture attention and make it a focus on the art of glass, also should have a tumblr, blog type of feel. Very communicative and welcoming...a space for glass enthusiasts and new customers alike to share and express an interest.
Custom Glass Page: This page should lay out all of the options for someone to build their own water pipe or oil rig from scratch. Essentially, there should be diff categories for diff products (from within the menu), a budget option; should be similar to nikeID custom, where the drop down menu on the side has all preliminary options for customizable glass. Ultimately, should have images of finished, custom pipes as the main imagery & a menu on the side (similar to that on nikeID) that encompasses all of the preliminary selections (i.e. what type of glass? what size? what's your budget? etc)
What to avoid
Please do not use any red; no "clutter"
Very visual oriented, as opposed to text oriented. Think Minimalistic with a little edge and pop. Thanks designers!
