Greetings Designers,
We are starting a new company and are in need of a design look for the site. There are two pages that need to be designed. I have seen many excellent designs at sitepoint, and that's why I am here. So thank you in advanced. I have just had our logo designed, and you will find that in the file attached to this project. It contains jpg, ai, eps and svg. However, the logo/color scheme I am going with is found the jpg called logo_actual_colors.jpg. Please build the templates of this.

Page 1- Front page
Front page This page needs to sell our product in about 10 seconds to the customer, and I deeply care about its quality, and clarity. Here is what it should contain:
Logo teamvibes
Slogan Purifying project management
Screen shot section (main item they should see)
Screen shot of Main task view (the other page you are designing) with quote
This is what you see as manager
Screen shot of desktop client (provided)
This is what what those you manage see
(or something to this effect)

Footer ( small links of some sort) - home faqs pricing contact more info
This front page should resemble the style of the rest of the template, but I think it should be different enough so have a good product sell on it.
Page 2 - Template
For this page you will find a mock up of what elements need to go on the page. It's a view of tasks that have been assigned to people, and being looked at in a category view. There are many views, but they are all fairly similar, and I will have the programming team mimic your design everywhere else in the code.
This site is going to be developed with ajax/php/mysql. The feel of the site will be very dynamic. If you go to netvibes.com, you will see basically how the main tasks area should act, with the drag and drop capability. I only mention this to give you an idea of how it should be designed.
It would probably benefit you to stick fairly close to my layout design. Not the styling of course, but the general layout is what I am happy with. I need a design which is attractive and simple enough to make you want to look at it.
Here are some notes on what I want from your design:
Web 2.0 feel
clean
uncluttered
hip
lite background
not terribly strong colors
not terribly strong branding
