Streamline Software was founded in 1996 and provides specialized consulting services to fund-of-fund managers, fund administrators and institutional investors. Our focus is finding enterprise solutions to optimize and scale our customers’ business. This includes strategic planning, optimization of current state operating models, software selection, system integration and customized software development. Ultimately our solutions reduce operational risk for our customers, streamline their business processes, and maximize the use of capital expenditures.
Financial services solutions: Expertise in building or selecting solutions to service the front, middle and back-office of asset allocators or service providers in the Alternative Investments space. Target customers include: fund-of-hedge-funds, endowments, family offices, pension plans and fund administrators.
Technology solutions: End-to-end development of web-based platforms (user interface, service, business-tier and back-end) to meet the needs of our customers and ultimately their investors and clients.
Optimization of operating models: Provide years of experience in streamlining manual business processes, introducing automation where appropriate and recommending best practices throughout a customers’ business.
Vendor software expertise : Extensive experience with leading software vendors in the alternative and financial services domain. Examples are the following : PerTrac, Webfolio, HedgeSphere, Cogency, PackHedge, Cognity, AlternativeSoft, Risk AI, Algorithmics and Charles River.
Scott Coughlin is the founder of Streamline Software and majority owner. Over the last 5+ years he has worked at software providers and large asset managers in the fund-of-fund marketplace. This year Scott and his team have provided consulting services to Infonic AG and AlternativeSoft, both software providers in the FoF’s market.
Before 2011, Scott co-founded Centaura Solutions and served as the company's Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer. At Centaura, Scott was responsible for acquiring the proprietary software assets from Tremont Group Holdings and modifying the software for commercial use.
Prior to joining Centaura, Scott served as Chief Technology Officer at Tremont Group Holdings Inc. As CTO he was responsible for the firm’s Information Technology, Investment and Index data departments. Scott was the architect of Tremont's proprietary asset management platform during his tenure.
Before joining Tremont, Scott operated Streamline Software Inc. for over 8 years. His firm has provided custom software solutions to clients such as Tremont, Chase Manhattan, Parker Global Strategies, Verizon, Phillip Morris International and UPS. Mr. Coughlin has 19 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, with expertise in strategic planning, enterprise software development, business analysis and project management. He received a Bachelor’s degree and Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He also holds a MBA in finance from Fordham University.
Jane Conway (Partner) for the past 5 years has shaped and directed the operational strategy, customer strategy, business application architecture and service delivery models for some of the world’s largest Fund Administrators, FoF Managers and centralized clearing agent (DTCC) in the alternative investments space.
During this time Jane also served as CIO for Infonic, AG, the makers of HedgeSphere, a patented software solution which enables FoHF Managers and Fund Administrators on-demand fund/portfolio pricing and valuation and fund /portfolio liquidity, cash forecasts and pre-trade compliance. Jane‘s responsibilities included : next-generation product strategy and roadmap, oversight of the PDLC and creation and management of the HedgeSphere User group. She also had responsibility for key US operations for the company.
Prior to starting her firm, Jane held the role of Senior Vice President in the Investor Services Division at State Street Corp., where she started up and directed the New Product Development Group. In this capacity she had responsibility for corporate product strategy, product lifecycle management, strategic investment management, and product P&L. Noteworthy products and solutions she had responsibility for included: OTC derivatives processing platform, middle-office integrated reporting, on-line collateral management and integrated performance and analytics, compliance and risk management solutions for Asset Managers and Institutional Investors.
Before joining State Street, Jane established the New York office for Fort Point Partners, an exclusive web-strategy and technology consulting firm. Jane established and managed the Global Financial Services practice and held the title of EVP of Global Markets. She established Fort Point’s cross-channel advisory services, aimed at increasing customer profitability through the use of scenario-based customer models, targeted on-line campaigns, and business intelligence tools. Under her direction, the first on-line brokerage advanced solutions (e.g., stock baskets), wealth management applications, and on-line techniques to persuade individual investors to purchase ETFs were introduced to the market
Prior to joining Fort Point Partners, Jane was an Associate Partner at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where she was an industry leader in designing and delivering technology-based solutions in the following areas: Commercial and Consumer Lending, Structured Finance and Risk Management (Commercial and Real Estate), Fund Accounting, Trust and Custody, Straight-Through Processing and on-line brokerage.
Jane holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Adelphi University and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Scranton and has been working in the area of individual and organizational performance enhancement enabled by technology for over 25 years.
Sébastien Comte (Partner) is a Senior Executive with a proven track record in building, growing and sustaining a world-class professional services and client services organization. He consistently demonstrated the ability to successfully recruit, train and mentor a skilled and diverse workforce to deliver differentiated consulting services. For nearly 5 years, Sébastien has held the role of Chief Operating Officer with the responsibility to shape and direct various product strategies, sales, software implementations and customer services for Digital Shape Technologies (Webfolio) and Infonic (HedgeSphere) where he has successfully managed over 25 software implementations. Prior to entering the software provider industry, Sébastien held the role of FoHF Portfolio Administrator at Deutsche Bank, EIM S.A and Unigestion S.A.
