WHAT WE DO • Enterprise Social Media Management System > aggregates multiple social media channels (multiple accounts on multiple social networks), allows users to publish to multiple channels from one place, allows companies to control their brand voice, coordinate publishing of messages and monitor social engagement activities. • We provide a way for businesses to build brand awareness, customer loyalty and drive sales through social media. HOW WE FIT IN THE INDUSTRY • Market leader – we will be the first to provide a platform allowing cross-cultural/language social engagement by integrating with social networks in many languages. NICHE MARKETS • Emerging markets – focussing on India, China and other countries. OVERALL IMPRESSION • Slick, simple, easy-to-use but yet sophisticated, powerful.
SITES WE LIKE http://basecamphq.com/ - Look and feel is good. - Excellent messaging. - Screen shots are OK, but would be better if they included an explanation. - Strip of client logos is well done. - Header image gives a good overall idea of what the product is. http://backpackit.com - Look and feel is good. - The header animation is good, but I prefer to be able to control them (not start automatically) and audio narration would help. - Feature screen shots and explanations are good. http://www.hubspot.com/ - Look and feel is good. - Screen shots are too small and could use more explanation. Not immediately obvious that it’s an AJAX slider. http://www.sysomos.com/ - Look and feel is good. - Information is not as well presented as basecamphq.com and backpackit.com. http://www.campaignmonitor.com/ - Look is good. - Homepage is too cluttered – needs some white space. OTHER SITES WE LIKE • www.salesforce.com • www.eloqua.com • www.marketo.com • www.omniture.com OUR COMPETITORS • www.awarenessnetworks.com • www.hootsuite.com • www.tap11.com • www.seesmic.com • www.radian6.com/products/engagement/ • www.peoplebrowsr.com • http://sproutsocial.com/
HOMEPAGE CONTENT - Header section highlighting main selling proposition (needs to be defined): o “Coordination, Control and Collaboration for Social Media Teams. o "Include more people in your social media team and ensure that they work effectively together, no matter where they’re located. ” - Secondary message (just below header): o “Hubblr is the top choice for large organizations, international brands and agencies.” - Highlight main features (have a screen shot of each and a short description—put them in an AJAX switcher so that you only see one at a time). Larger screen shots and explanations like on backpackit.com are good. o Organize your social media accounts in hubs that make sense to you. Stop monitoring and managing dozens of social media accounts separately and manage them more efficiently using our unique hubs feature. o Coordinate your social media team. o Monitor your overseas social media representatives and agencies. On-the-fly translation allows you to monitor whaty they’re saying on your behalf and provide feedback when necessary. o Prevent social media disasters by using the built-in profanity filter. o Agencies can manage all of their client’s social media accounts from one place. No more logging in and out all day long. - Strip of client logos (will be added later) - Testimonials (will be added later) - Demo video (will be added later). It will be a pop-up (not embedded) as it will need to be viewed at a decent size in order to see screen effectively. - Call to Action (include at least twice—in header and at bottom of page as well): o “Free 30-day trial (no credit card required)” - Main navigation o Features o Pricing o Blog o Sign Up o Login - Fat Footer Nav o About Hubblr o Careers o News & Press o Contact Us INTERNAL PAGES - Needs lots of room for good sized screen shots. - AJAX switcher is good for pages with lots of info, like the features page (e.g. http://basecamphq.com/tour/#/communicate) * Include share buttons on all pages (Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc).
AIMS & OBJECTIVES • Initially to obtain subscribers and create interest in the launch of the product > create credibility and expertise • After launch, to generate sales • Establish Hubblr as the premier social engagement platform for global companies TARGET AUDIENCE • Potential customers will be primarily be Marketing & Communications officers (CMO) – these people will probably be the decision-makers in the purchasing decision process • Technical team (social support) • PR and social media agencies > looking for solutions to help manage their client services FUNCTIONALITY REQUIRED IN THE DESIGN • Subscribe to newsletter • Request beta testing account (temporary) • Blog • After launch – free trial, demo video, request a demo(?) • Content for SEO
