Provide short course and vocational training for individuals and groups
We want to use a style which is more visual focussed than text. We'd like to use a panel based approach which would shrink to look more like icons on smaller devices. Something not entirely dissimilar to the windows 8 UI (which is terribly executed but looks nice) with a view to hinting at iOS on smaller devices.
We want a home page with a single tier main nav. We want the panels to form the main focus which will lead to sub pages. The plan is to help each user archetype self identify with one of these 3 categories; 1) Vocational qualifications for improving skill base - the majoirty of courses will 2) RSA/RCG/First Aid courses where users will want fast access to get to these courses 3) Courses aimed at slightly older people, more necessity/fun based learning We'd also like to include panels to show "special events", "interesting courses" and "news"
