I feel that my current header looks like it was "pasted". The color transition from the header to the background is too abrupt. I'd like to smoothen out this transition and round the edges of the header so it doesn't look like it pasted on the remainder of the theme.
The second exercise it to make the background relevant to the theme, which is poker. This means maybe adding some cards here and there and I am open to originality. The background needs be generic to poker however, not California. I intend on using this design for other poker related sites.
The scope of work would be to modify the background and/or header so that my design has a cohesive feel. You do not need to change the body or anything else, although you are free to if you want to express yourself fully.
By the way, the awesome logo is from your own Prowler designs. I paid him 350 do it. Nice job man !
If you could deliver like he did, this would really be an incredible design in my opinion.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Technical recommendation from an expert designer at Revolution themes. I don't make much sense of this, but you should:
"Suggestion... have the designer send you the file as a .png. Since the logo is on a black back ground he should be able to strip out the background save as .png file and this will allow you to "float" or use the back ground color from the current banner. If you have the .psd file open photoshop remove background (should be all black) save as .png "vola"
- I don't like a real black background, I prefer light colours.
- The output files should be "transparent". By this I mean that I should be able to port the design to other sites with the same layout structure, just different logos.
- Pictures of smurfette or Hanah Montana on the background.
