Drew9196 got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Shortlist is updating its website
Check out Drew9196's Web page design contest…
Shortlist is the leading source of news for senior recruitment professionals, recruitment company owners, and recruitment managers for large employers. We publish news to our website and alert readers to our latest content via email alert. All content requires a paid subscription for access.
We're open to new ideas so long as they're in-keeping with the brief - all ideas will be considered, but clean and simple is what we're aiming for.
We're looking for design concepts for an updated homepage (see screenshots for top and bottom of our site or www.shortlist.net.au) and news article page (see article screenshot or an unlocked article at http://www.shortlist.net.au/nl06_news_selected.php?act=2&stream=2&selkey=45968 ). The homepage will show our most-recently published news articles and article-search box, while article pages will be used to display specific articles with headline, and related links as well as our search box. Each page needs to have navigation buttons to other areas of our site (see screenshots). Please note we'd like to breakaway from using kitschy images in our navigation bar as with the existing version. We're keen to see new ideas on navigation bars/buttons or links as well as login point, a new logo, and imaginative ways of laying out our content. If adding marketing text please use themes similar to "The leading source of recruitment news".
The new look should have a bold yet professional feel, and convey the "newsy" nature of our service. Clean and simple designs will give us flexibility to add to the site as well.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Web page design starts at $599.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
