benkRD got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Redesigning existing Maxs website into a progressive and modern looking e-commerce website
Check out benkRD's Web page design contest…
Max’s is all about providing many great ways of getting the protein and nutrients you need to build natural muscle mass, lose weight and workout with more intensity. Max’s mainly sells a wide range of supplements that are designed for serious athletes and bodybuilders. See our best selling product https://maxs.com.au/products/premium-proteins/shred-system/ Our customers expect to be able to take our products and: - Gain muscle - Burn fat - Workout harder - Recover faster Those are their key objectives. Currently, we only have a brochure website for our products and we would like to update and redo the website into an e-commerce website. Also, we would like to take this opportunity to improve the overall design.
Progressive, Modern E-commerce. We would like to see a design that is aligned with the consumer based trends in e-commerce UX and UI. We would like to move away from an “all black” color scheme like we have now. It feels too “heavy” and a couple years behind in what’s attractive today. We like the color theme from https://www.onnit.com/nutrition/ which is lighter than the existing website. You can experiment with a different color theme as long as the colors don’t CONFLICT with the packaging of the Max’s products https://maxs.com.au/products/premium-proteins/shred-system/ We are still targeting male athletes and we don’t want to lose the aesthetic that makes them feel like they can take our products and build muscle/lose weight/workout harder.
Below are the three pages we would like to have redesigned. 1. Homepage - https://maxs.com.au/ We would like you to create a template based on the inspiration links and wireframe provided. (see wireframe - page 1 - homepage). You also need to add the blog post ribbon from the existing website in your design. Please see screenshot of the blog post ribbon. https://i.imgur.com/JmnTRsY.jpg 2. Product Details Page (Shred System) - https://maxs.com.au/products/premium-proteins/shred-system/ We would like you to create a template based on the wireframe provided. (see wireframe - page 2 - product details). 3. Gold Club - https://maxs.com.au/gold-club/ We do not have a wireframe for this but base the design based on the preferences that we have provided in this brief.
You can use any images in the Max's website. Most likely we will use the same images from the existing website to the new design. Technical Specifications: - E-Commerce - Full Width - Responsive - Tablet / Mobile Version (this should be a mobile-first design project) - Desktop Version
