honestq got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Q&A site wanting a fresh original feel
Check out honestq's Web page design contest…
HonestQ is a Q&A site for questions that might not have a definitive answer. This might be because it's a subject where people can easily disagree with each other. The motivation behind the "Honest Questions" idea is the notion that certain social media companies might want to censor or discourage controversial discussions or opinions, whereas HonestQ values freedom of speech. With all that said, we are not 100% fixed to the "HonestQ" brand, so if you have a better suggestion, by all means let us know what you think!

As stated in the brief, the HonestQ branding / innocent emoji logo doesn't have to stay, but by all means work with it if you like it. One factor to consider is accessibility and inclusivity: HonestQ should be useful for all potential users, so thoughts to consider could be dyslexia-friendly font / colourblind-friendly / night-mode / etc. Note the current responsive design - we do expect most users to be using a mobile device.
Homepage (https://demo.honestq.com/): colours, branding, search & tags. Question page: the question, list of answers (currently identified with a "hand-up" emoji), sort controls, "Discuss" buttons, e.g. https://demo.honestq.com/questions/59/are_vaccines_safe
Currently using Twitter Bootstrap: the successful design does not necessarily need to use bootstrap, but if using a different framework, it should have at least a similar level of utility.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Web page design starts at $599.
