Food & Drink
We specialise in gourmet Mexican food. Our food is not your usual greasy fatty Mexican that you feel sick after eating, rather it is traditional low fat Mexican that is tasty and good for your hips. We use very high quality ingredients and a range of Chillis that are only found in Mexico. At the moment we provide burritos, quesadillas and tacos to various festivals around Melbourne and have big plans to open a chain of permanent retail outlets over the next couple of years. We want this new website concept to carry us through this next exciting phase of expansion. We are a funky and young team, and our company philosophy reflects this. Our point of difference is the wide range of chillies we use that are not readily found in current Mexican restaurants in Australia.
Boost juice – the clean crisp feel. It looks fresh and there is lots of colour. http://www.boostjuice.com.au/ Grill’d – exuberates funky and quality. We like the busy background and simple text. The words do not get lost within the design of the page. http://www.grilld.com.au/
We would like just the Home page done. Here is a link to the Home page wireframe that will help guide your designs: https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1Vh2KD7O4zlu_6LiiJMLb_FjfYOvk4dM4ODQEN0kcbRk/edit - The logo will be provided and please draw inspiration from this logo and the other websites listed below. - We would like to have the background orange in colour, which can be pulled from the logo. - For each navigation link it should have a Mexican chilli background image. - Also under each of the 3 images in the middle of the wireframe have the title "Burrito", "Quesadilla", and "Taco" on a Mexican chilli background image. For example, looking for a box image of a Burrito then below that a chilli image with the text "Burrito" to indicate a clickable link. Aim to have the design fresh and clean. Emphasise the point of difference section too.
Incorporating funky chilli designs into the website would be favourably viewed. We emphasise freshness and quality and would like this clean crisp feel reflected in the overall website design. We envisage warm colours, lots of reds and yellows – following the theme of the Chilli. Lots of colour. The funkier and more “out there” the better, because we like the design to be eye catching. We do not have any preconceived ideas about what this site will look like, therefore, fresh, funky and original ideas are very welcomed! We want a website that makes sense but is memorable in its design. This will be our main advertising platform and must be professional, and in no way boring. Age: Generally teenagers and older. Gender: Both genders. Location: Melbourne. Target audience interest: Mexican food and fresh food with a high quality.
