I am a veteran Magic: The Gathering player who thinks running tournaments online can gain some traction. There's only one other site out there, and I think it can be done better.
Magic: The Gathering players who want to play in free and paid tournaments online. Fantasy gamers. I'd like to attract people who might not be comfortable in playing online. I've had the site up for quite a while and have found that people register and don't follow through with the play.
I like simple and straight to the point designs. The UI should be simple and easy to use. I like MetaLab designs, and modern "poppy" designs. The home page should invite the user to view the existing tournaments and sign up for them.
The site has the following sections: home page, tournament list, tournament view, and forums. I don't need a layout for forums, I can use the base styles to do that myself.
Here's the existing pages:
Home: http://www.mtgtournaments.com/
Tournament List: http://www.mtgtournaments.com/tourn…index.html
Tournament View: http://www.mtgtournaments.com/tourn…ew/13.html
Here's a few color palettes I like:

The logo is something I came up with, but it's not a concrete logo. It can change.
