Music/Video Blog Theme for Young Amazing Beautiful Female Singer

We are looking to replace the current site at http://www.mandybarry.com with a cool video/music Blog, which will be coded in Wordpress. The color scheme should be based around pink, but appeal to both male and female audiences. Here are pictures for use: http://www.mandybarry.com/mandyb_pix.zip

Mandy Barry is a pop/rock/r&b music artist who appeals to young as well as mature audiences. We are looking to have a full featured, original and custom designed blog theme.

The purpose of the blog is to display video posts as well as music posts, and of course text posts will also be featured.

I would like for there to be the use of at least one picture of mandy in the theme.

If you are able to make more work then its fine, but 1 is all that is required as long as it looks good. If you only use 1 pic, my preference would be the pic titled ‘mandyb_01’ Download this package of pictures: http://www.mandybarry.com/mandyb_pix.zip
There are 7 pics in the package for you to choose from, don’t need to use all of them, but again, I really want at least the pic ‘mandyb_01’ used.

I would want it to have a real web 2.0 community feel, that looks and feels like it’s a big-time super-platinum artist….which I plan on her becoming soon;)

It would be great if you could create also some type of symbol or logo that represents ‘Mandy Barry’ that could be used on the site as well as other places.

I would also want a space where there could be a flash music player.

There would also need to be cool looking links w/graphics in the sidebar where to ‘Get Mandy Barry Ringtones’ and check out her myspace as well.

Another thing would be a piece of the sidebar where they could get download desktop backgrounds.

Also, a cool opt-in form where visitors could ‘Join the Mandy Barry Fanclub’

Links for pages could be: Home, Bio, Photos, Contact

As far as the sidebar, there could be the usual area for archives and categories, etc.

Even a place where it could be monetized with wouldn’t be a bad idea i.e. a place for a banner ad or google adsense.

Feel free to really think outside the box and create something really unique for this theme. See what looks good to you, and we can modify from there if need be.

Also, want an area somewhere for sponsor placement, maybe at the bottom, in a cool looking footer. Footer should be nice size where more content could be placed.

There could also be an extra prize for someone who could create a new myspace layout that looks nice and related to the theme, but the priority is the blog theme.

Please keep in mind, this artist is going to be huge, and will become one of the JamBuzzer Official Certified Artists;) I will be placing another JamBuzzer.com contest here soon when I have prepared the brief. But in the meantime, I wanted to give you designers at 99designs the chance to be a part of this Mandy Barry project as well.

So show us what you got, and let’s make it look like Platinum!

P.S. Although this is an uncoded contest, there could be an extra financial prize for a winning design that can code the site as well, with Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict. It would be coded and installed into Wordpress. There would have to be proof of the ability to code. Again this is not required, I have access to coders already, but just thought I’d make it available to a winning designer who has the ability to code as well.

* Area in sidebar for flash music player, and possibly some ad placement

* Area somewhere in the theme, sidebar or bottom, which would say 'sponsors' and those sponsors would be, 'JamBuzzer.com' 'AaronBeats.com' 'Pacifico Records' - make it where i could put small images of logos for the companies if possible, otherwise text

* Glazed Images - Web 2.0 Community look and feel
* Links buttons for pages: Home, Bio, Photos, Contact

* Archives, Categories, etc in sidebar
o 'Outside the Box' look -Would also like an area with desktop backdrops that they could download

* Nothing copied from anywhere. Want completely original and unique designs.
