Gendesign was great to work with - they were very creative and their design gave us exactly the look and feel that we were looking for. They were also very responsive throughout the design and development process. They provided frequent updates, and responded to our many questions and comments in a timeline manner. With regards to coding of the site, we were very happy with the quality of their work. We could tell that they took pride in their work product, and that they tested each page and feature before delivering to us. We highly recommend Gendesign and would definitely work with them again!
Very responsive and easy to communicate with and always great designs!

How michael0d started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We sell web hosting to consumers and small businesses. We focus on cloud-powered shared, reseller, and VPS hosting. While we offer reseller hosting - we will likely not be really promoting it much if at all moving forward.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
The design should be fully responsive so thoughts should be given for devices with smaller screens and touch screens like mobile and tablets.
On the home page we would like a clear call to action and a good menu that drops-down but is easy to use on both a computer as well as a tablet/mobile device. We'd also like to highlight one of our primary plans from each type, shared, premium, and VPS. We do offer reseller hosting but do not intend to highlight it on the main page.
The second page we'd like a hosting / plan comparison. This is one of the most important pages in our site beyond the primary index as many of our advertisements and marketing link directly to the plan comparison page. While we're looking for something somewhat generic in order to understand what style and direction you will take and we'd like to work to customize the comparison page for each of our products once a winner has been chosen.
What to avoid
We are moving away from the count-down timer on the front page. Listing a promotion or coupon code is fine but we'll likely simply list the date/time that it expires if we do that.
We would like to work with whoever wins this design to flesh out more of the site. We don't want you to spend a lot of time having to design 5+ pages right off the bat - we'd prefer you to do an exceptional job at just two of the most important pages and then we can go from there once you're selected.
We are going to be focusing heavily on Cloud [High Availability, Cluster], StorPool [distributed high availability high performance storage], and High Availability in general including exceptional uptime and huge performance gains. We're planning on including a 1000% Uptime Guarantee SLA - where we will pay 1000% of any downtime as a credit. Down for an hour - get 10 hours of credit, etc.
