Make over the brazilian`s major Pet Adoption website design

Amigo Não se Compra

"Amigo não se compra" means "friends cant be bought" in portuguese. We are a brazilian iniciative, completely free of money and we want to help animals to find a good place to live. Our website should connect animal non-profit organizations with pet adopters all over Brazil.

I`d like to modernize the existing layout, which was created in 2011. The new design should keep the current colour palette but using a clean, modern style. The design should also be responsive for tablet and mobile phones. For easier implementation, it should be nice if the design could be implemented by using Bootstrap.

Home: must have a menu for institucional contents (what we do, tips about pets care etc) and a gallery of animals for adoption. Near the gallery there should be some search fields (about 4 fields) for people to search the pets. Next to these fields there can be a button "refine your search". Pet profile page: must have a big profile photo (much bigger than the one we have now), description and general information of the animal. There should also be a place for more photos and videos, questions/comments and "other pets waiting for a family". Current page example is http://www.amigonaosecompra.com.br/…85-nicolas

The more important thing is: though the site is about abandoned pets, it must have a positive, cool atmosphere. It must also be modern, cleand and reponsive for tablet and mobile.

Though most shelters are non-profit organizations which have very little time to use internet, the site must be very user-friendly and simple to navigate through.
