Check out webxmedia's Web page design contest…
Real Estate & Mortgage
BainbridgeIslandRealEstate.com provides real estate referral services. Our services include buying or selling a home, mortgages, refinance loans and home equity loans. Our target audience are educated professionals between the age of 30 and 60. We also provide a variety educational, news and expert opinion articles to help inform consumers of the home buying, home selling and home financing options.
I would like to develop a "full screen" website, and would like you to do the design in Photoshop/Illustrator. This project request two screens designed: 1. Homepage 2. Lower level page The final website design will be similar to http://meshable.mstrends.com/ (but without rotating image, or music) in that it will have a beautiful graphic in the background that will resize to the size of the window. The website will use this background image: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3986495/BainbridgeIsland.png (Please remove the border and header information from around that picture.) If you want to create some sort of horizontal line style, like on http://meshable.mstrends.com/, feel free. Every page of the website will include a lead generation form -- that is the main focus of the site --> to generate leads. We want people to fill out a form, or call us. So please make it designed so that the user is encouraged to fill out the form. *This is the most important part of the site.* The form will look similar to the red-box highlighted area of https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3986495/bire-contactform.jpg. You should figure out how to locate it on the page in such a way that the background photo is as visible as possible. The contact form should say: Get personalized help today! Fill out the form below and we'll call or email FAST or Call us now at (206) 651-4335 First Name: (input field) Last Name: (input field) Phone: (input field) Email: (input field) Need: (pull down with these options: Buy a home, Sell a home, Secure mortgage, Refinance home, Home equity loan) What are you looking for? (text box) Button should read: Contact Me! (no obligation) The "(no obligation)" doesn't have to be on the button...it could be just below it. Create a semi-transparent header bar, but instead of "MESHABLE" use the words "Bainbridge Island Real Estate". It will likely be two lines to get it to fit the header properly. (They will stay as words for SEO value.) For the navigational items of the header bar (instead of "Home, Blog, Gallery, Features, Contact") use "About, Why BI?, FAQ, Contact". Create an overlay similar to "A CREATIVE THEME WITH HIGH END FEATURES!" but use the words "Bainbridge Island Experts <line break> At Your Service". Just below those two lines, with appropriate spacing, embed this video (http://www.bainbridgeisland.tv/why-visit-bainbridge-island.html) but size it as you see fit for the page design. Use the semi-transparent social media bar, but only use Facebook and Twitter icons. Create a new icon for Bainbridge Island magazine that will link to: http://mag.bainbridgeisland.com (Feel free to click through the two live magazine issues to get an idea for the design of that circular icon.) On the right hand side, there should be a semi-transparent bar (where the controls are on http://meshable.mstrends.com/) and there should be two text links: Contact and Advertise. For the lower level page design it should look similar to http://meshable.mstrends.com/typography with some sort of page area for text (like on the left hand side), but incorporate the lead generation area too. Maybe the background is not fully white, but allows for the background to be seen slightly *and* is fully readable. Output: * Two webpage designs (homepage and lower level page) * Final documents in Photoshop or Illustrator * Sliced items/graphics, as needed
