Bell Curves
We do test preparation for college, business and law school entrance exams (LSAT, GMAT, SAT). We offer online study, live classes, tutoring, as well as books and materials.
The current revisions in progress have a lot of the elements we are looking for on our new pages:
http://maindev.bellcurves.com
http://gmatdev.bellcurves.com
Large rotating images are important. We are not happy with the current rotating images we've created, and would like a fresher look.
Bell Curves is redesigning its website and is looking for a designer to improve the landing pages for the site.
There are 3 landing pages that are necessary.
1. Main Page (Revision in progress: http://maindev.bellcurves.com)
-----------------------------------------------------
This page is the main landing page for most of our clients, our business is a diverse test preparation company that serves both individuals and organizations. We'd like the main landing page to allow organization to find the information they want to learn about the services we can provide for them and individuals to find the pages that list programs for the test they want to prepare for. We are also attaching several screen shots of other mock ups we've been playing with but are not completely happy with. The page should allow potential clients to easily find the test type they are interested in.
Our main products right now are: GMAT Test Prep, SAT Test Prep, and LSAT Test Prep
2. GMAT Home Page (Revision in progress: http://gmatdev.bellcurves.com)
-------------------------------------------------------
This page is targeted at adults who
are planning to prepare for the GMAT. Typically this client is someone who is working full time and considering graduate school. Many people will also land on this page and totally bypass the main page because of google results or direct email and paper marketing. The secondary pages from this page we are fairly happy with and plan to leave fundamentally unchanged (unless you somehow floor us with the changes that need to be made). The landing page needs to direct potential clients to registration/purchase options for our major products: Courses, Tutoring, and Self Study tools. The page should also contain a list of upcoming free events, as well as a block for a video student testimonials. A comparison chart(Us vs 2 - 3 competitors) would be nice as well, and could possibly be included in one of the rotating images.
3. SAT Home Page (Revision in progress: http://satdev.bellcurves.com)
-------------------------------------------------------
This page is much like the GMAT page but targeted at a younger (high school) demographic. It should contain the same elements as the GMAT, but also include the ability for potential partners (schools, afterschool programs, non-profits, etc. are our biggest and primary clients) to get in touch with us, as well as a blurb/block for parents.
Please feel free to change the outside template (Header, Navigation, side area), as long as the secondary pages (check out other pages in the navigation @ http://gmatdev.bellcurves.com) we've already created remain largely intact.
Currently our subpage's header text uses Myriad Pro/Bold. If you can find a better font, please choose wisely. We would like to keep our current fonts consistent across the site if possible.
For each landing page we need the following:
1. 3 or 4 rotating landing images with slogans and call to actions
2. Options to sign up for free products.
3. Block/link/buttons to sign up for main products - course tutoring 4.
testimonials
4. An area for a video testimonial and/or a text testimonial with a student image
Option elements (some sort of rotating/changing content to create interest
and provide dynamic content on the main page)
- fun facts (see GMAT home tango.jpg)
- stats
- blog links
- twitter links
