The Fun Music Company
The Fun Music Company creates educational resources for music teachers. These resources make music lessons more fun and enjoyable for students, and thus help the teacher by making their lessons less stressful, and cutting down on their preparation time.
Our market is music teachers. Teachers buy this product to help their students, either on an interactive whiteboard, or in a music classroom network of computers, or on a single computer in a music teaching studio.
The eventual end user of this product is students aged between 5 and 15 - so therefore it shouldn't be too "child like" in approach - it should be definitely "kid friendly", but not designed for young children exclusively, as this will definitely put off the high school aged children playing these games.
Please check our existing printable products on http://www.funmusicco.com for more insights into the style of product we have. This is our first computer game product, but we want it to fit in stylistically with our printable range of products.
This product is a set of games built in flash. We need the "front end" design for them... ie the graphic backgrounds and menu buttons.
1) a border and 'stage design' that the games can sit on
2) a button design that can be used many times for the menu.
3) a title page and font & style selection for the game titles.
the designs should be 800 x 600 pixels in size, and we would like the final designs delivered in Adobe Illustrator or flash if possible, or any other vector format. We also need to know what fonts are used so that we can incorporate them into the final games.
Basically something like a stage with curtains on the side & top, or a music stand for the game to sit on.
I'll attach pictures of the games we've already developed, so you can see what will sit over the top of your design.
We need at least part of the screen to be white - for instances where music notes have to be displayed. Music teachers are a fussy bunch, and if notes are not displayed absolutely perfectly on a white background there may be complaints from end users.
We aren't looking for complicated designs and too many new elements, just a simple and effective and effective design that will imply that this product has class and a lot of content.
