How BMI Consulting started their web page design journey
We are a clinically focused company which provides a questionnaire specifically designed to evaluate the morbidly obese for their candidacy as weight loss surgery patients. Our questionnaire provides a report that not only identifies issues which need to be addressed for weight loss surgery patients prior to surgery but also predicts the potential success for each individual on a patient by patient basis. There are other industry standard questionnaires which do a similar assessment but they are designed for all people, they are not specific to weight loss surgery patients. The PsyBari questionnaire is specific ONLY to weight loss surgery patients and it is the only such questionnaire on the market.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are targeting mental health providers (i.e. psychologists, psychiatrists, clinically licensed social workers), weight loss surgeons and nurses. Our customers are primarily clinical in their education and work strictly with patients who are 100lbs (~45kg) overweight.
This audience is primarily motivated by helping patients make it to surgery (many patients currently do not so we want MORE patients to make it to surgery) with a successful outcome.
It is important to convey the concept that PsyBari will help MORE patients make it to surgery and be successful than without PsyBari.
We need a homepage which has room to give a VERY BRIEF overview of the purpose of this test. Please incorporate the colors of the logo. The homepage should focus on the concept of success and health. To the best of your ability, remember we are specifically targeting surgeons and psychologists who work strictly with weight loss surgery patients. These patients are at least 100 lbs (~45 kg) overweight. So the concept we want to convey is that using the "PsyBari" test/questionnaire will help ensure more patients have a successful surgery.
Since most of the site will be a test, the template for the interior pages of the site can be VERY simple, The logo and menu options should go across the top of the page while the rest is left blank as real estate for us to administer the test and display reports.
Number of pages
This is pretty much explained in the "Requirements" section. Do not hesitate to post any questions you have, I will respond immediately.
I have attached screenshots of the logo and the interior page. Please note there are two logos. One is green and orange, the other is blue and orange. Please choose whichever you prefer for your design as we are open to either color scheme. For the interior page, please pay no attention to the colors or anything like that - this is just to give you a feel for how the test will be presented. If you have a better suggestion than this format, by all means please let me know.
