It was my pleasure working with Von.
Excellent design work with great communication skill. I couldn't really describe what exactly I wanted, but Von just got it right! Amazing!!
Provided great design vision from the brief, and easy to work with.

How Dgoehl2 started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Sugarcrest helps lawyers & the inspiring companies that serve them open doors, close deals and grow value. Our principals have been selling to lawyers and helping lawyers develop business for over two decades. Our website, although quite old, is designed to communicate what we do to our target market of law firms, attorneys and the companies that serve them.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We've attached files that show color schemes and specific home page elements we like. The site targets lawyers so it should convey professionalism, trustworthiness, simplicity and a pinch of fun too. We're a business of people so we'd like to find a creative way to highlight real humans (as opposed to stock footage of people) on the home page if possible. We're fans of the font "Encore Sans Pro" or other simple sans-serif fonts such as those used by Apple and Volkswagen. We've included various versions of our current logo which we are happy to reuse on the new site or modify if it just doesn't work.
The homepage was designed in 1999 and is in urgent need of a new, fresh look!
The home page should introduce Sugarcrest and what we do as simply and as concisely as possible. We'd like to find a creative way to include pictures of our people--both principals and collaborators--on the home page if possible. As for content, feel free to use the same copy that currently appears on the site including:
- Brief description of who we are and what we do
- Email capture for newsletter
- Rainmaker reality check call to action (we may not offer this initially so designed will need to flex / allow this feature to be commented out
- Recent blog post blurbs (nothing yet so you can use blurbs from articles)
- Social media icons (fb, twitter, linkedin)
We'd also like to emphasize our two decades of experience by featuring three testimonials from past clients as well as logos from select clients, legal media and awards we've received over the years.
What to avoid
Please no stock photos of people like the one on our current site! We'd like to find a creative way to include pictures of real people (us!) on the home page since we're mostly a service business and what we're selling is us! Feel free to use placeholders for now.
