Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We design, develop and operationally manage state-of-the-art technology for motorsport such as timing, safety tracking and results systems. We also produce interfaces between the sporting equipment and the television graphics, to allow the broadcast of live timing, on-board telemtry, etc.
We are the sole supplier of this technology to the FIA World Rally Championship, but are looking to branch out into other forms of motorsport.
I like the technology feel, and the very clean layout. I'm not too sure about the globes in the background though - I think that's a bit OTT. I also like the large montage images in the header, and how they've laid that out.
I'm not fussed about the scrolling fanciness. But the actual visuals look great. I also like the way each of the sections expand when you hover.
We probably won't have enough content to make this work properly.
I also very much like the general classy layout of the top section, with the contrasting blue buttons, and the confident, two-lined menu items.

We are looking for a home page which is clean, confident, technical and professional. We will use this design to filter into the rest of the site.
It needs to be technology/engineering focussed, but not jazzy / The Matrix.
We are looking for a modern feel, and one which conveys our confidence and dependability, but without being too salesy. It needs to appear that we are confident enough to explain our services / achievements, rather than to have to shout about them.
The goal of the page is to highlight key areas of the site :

2) Services we provide
3) A link to the Case Study of the WRC
4) Our blogs (yet to be launched)
Our customers are owners of motorsport properties. They have invested a lot of time and money in their sport / event, and the sporting technology we provide is critical to them.
At the same time, the majority of providers of this kind of technology are amateurish or commercial non-savvy, and so they can be difficult to deal with.
It is critical that our site conveys that we are approachable human beings, who really understand motorsport, and can reliably take away their problems.
