The web page (front page) need to present information about the product (the application) in a nice way. It need links to other parts of the site, such as "Overview", "Get WDO", "News & Media", "Contact us" etc and of course a login function.
Some sort of drilling rig or well sketch should be integrated in the web page somehow, just to visualize who we are targeting. I will upload some image examples. More images can be found publicly available at sites like http://www.dolphindrillingltd.com and http://www.deepwater.com/.
The page should include some text saying something like:
"Well Design Online - The most secure and easy-to-use well design software in the world."
The rest of the page is basically up to the designers. We have no colour or layout preference, but the page should look professional and eye candy-ish. Perhaps with a visually interesting and abstract, yet subtle background. If you find it difficult to come up with a new "identity", you can tak a look at the AGR.com and use the colours from that site. But ideally we would like something a bit "less boring". As mentioned we do not have a logo but you can use the AGR logo's here: http://www.agr.com/Resources/Logo-b…roup-logo/ .
If used, the logo must say "AGR Well Design" or "AGR WDO" instead of "AGR Group".
The sentences below could be used if it fits somewhere in the web page, but it is not required (these are modules in our application).
"Reference wells - WDO easily targets any relevant reference wells near your planned well location and displays all relevant information visually."
"Experience database - Our experience database contains thousands of experiences from different operators and areas which will give you crucial information when designing your well."
"Built-in design defaults - Superusers put in the requirements for your company so it is not possible to design wells not compliant with internal governing documents without notification. National regulations is also built-in, depending on your planned well location coordinates, so it will always be within specifications."
