How Jintronix Inc. started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We develop medical software for physical rehabilitation. Our software is in the form of game like activities, and we use cutting edge technology for motion tracking to measure patient progress during the activities.
We have two target audiences:
1. clinicians (physical and occupational therapists) that will use our system in their clinic
2. patients that can use it at home.
The site needs to inspire trust for clinicians and look professional.
It also needs to give off the feeling that we are using cutting edge technology that is engaging and fun for patients.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
- We want to keep the green and blue colours of our logo.
- We like the font on http://www.cliniko.com.
- We would like to add more pictures to the site of patients using our system and the technology we are using, like on https://www.thalmic.com/myo/
We are looking for a new home page initially. The home page should briefly introduce the company and outline the main features and value propositions of our product. It should also direct clinicians to a separate page with more information and patients to a separate page. There should be buttons to sign up for a "free beta" of our software and for a "live demo".
We like how other sites have used a video at the top of the page to introduce the company/product, followed by icons with more details on features below.
We have had a lot of good press, so having a space with icons that link to those news articles would make us seem more credible. Not sure if this should be at the top of the page or more toward the bottom.
What to avoid
Nothing in particular.
We recognize the challenge of having two different audiences. On the one side we need to give off a clean and trustworthy image to clinicians, while on the other hand we want to seem fun and cutting edge for people that will use it at home.
