T-Bone did a fantastic job for my web design contest. I required 4 pages and for each of them, the designer put in a meticulous level of work to provide multiple variations and ideas. We are launching a new business that is focused on delivering executive education through various educational online products on the topic of data analytics. The first paid product is going to be video based online masterclass for marketers across sectors.
The amount of data collected is exploding. In 2010 the data collected was equivalent of previous 5000 years. And this trend is continuing as data collected is doubling every 2 years. DataAnalytics TV, aims to be an authority on management thinking, research and educational tools to help executives make the transition to this new era of management thinking. We believe data analytics is a field of study that will have an impact on modern businesses as Taylorism had on the manufacturing practices of 1930s.
We want to position ourselves as a leading authority in the data analytics knowledge and networking. We want to position ourselves as an institution with high quality content that has strong affiliations with leading business schools like Harvard and Wharton. However, we want to differentiate ourselves from the institutes like Harvard and Wharton on many fronts. We want to demysitfy the rocket science behind data analytics and make it accessible to a senior executive or manager and make the learning, networking and thought leadership fun, global and bite sized. In a nutshell a trustworthy resource with appeal to the masses. Against all the numerous portals focused on data analytics, we want to differentiate through our focus on high quality educational content developed from the perspective of the executive as oppose to the analyst.
Seth Godin's book on Purple Cow resonates with me. With the cluttered world around us, we need to stand out like a purple cow.

It should immediately give a clear sense of what we are about, be inviting to executives who can use their 10 min dead time to learn something new from DATV website. The home page should be a good place to delve into interesting content around the website.

Executives of businesses, Sales and Marketing managers, CEOs of small and medium businesses, director of business intelligence, director of data analytics, CRM managers, chief analytics officers, and sometimes director of new proposition in larger companies. These prospective customers are global, but largely in the US and Europe.
