We aspire to be a “one-stop shop” for tips and information about how to have a happy and healthy pregnancy. From pregnancy tracking tools and articles about common pregnancy concerns/what to expect during pregnancy, to baby book and nursery design ideas, to post-partum advice, HealthyPregnancy.com will provide all the information needed throughout pregnancy and beyond. Because we also sell a unique prenatal vitamin formula (which will eventually be available on the site) one of our main areas of focus will be providing information about the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that are critical for both mother and baby during pregnancy and after birth. Our target audience is pregnant women, but the site will also probably be viewed by women who are hoping to become pregnant.

What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We are looking for a new logo design as part of the new home page design. We’d also like the home page design/look & feel carried over to a generic static page design, and a blog post page design. In general, we are looking for something that is clean and professional but also welcoming and fun.
In particular, we are looking for a site that offers horizontal menu options as opposed to vertical drop down menu options (examples of horizontal menu and general structure of static page attached).
In regard to the logo, we are looking for something simple and clean, yet warm and inviting. We are open color-wise, but would prefer softer hues (as opposed to bright red or hot pink for example). A natural look and feel would be appropriate. The logo can include only the words “Healthy Pregnancy” or can include a symbol of some sort as well – that’s up to you as the designer. Take a look at Fit Pregnancy or Baby Center for examples, but do not copy these examples. We are also including a menu design mock-up and site map we put together just as an example. Please use this to reference for ideas.
We need designs for the home page (including new logo), a generic static page, and a blog post/article page.
For the home page, we are looking for a simple clean design that involves color and warmth but isn’t too crowded/busy or overwhelming. An easy-to-navigate layout is a must; between the top navigation bar and other various design elements on the home page, it should be easy to find the information you’re looking for (please see attached site map for reference). The top navigation bar should include:
Home/Prenatal Health/Pregnancy Basics/Everyday You/Preparing for Baby/Postpartum Basics/News
In regard to the logo, we are looking for something simple and clean, yet warm and inviting.
The other two pages should carry over the look/feel of the home page but be unique in their design/page layout. Here are some specifics:
Static Page: A general prenatal essential nutrients page where there are drop downs with the essential vitamins (please see attached example named "Prenatal Vitamin Main Page," for reference this page is currently labeled prenatal vitamins on the site map) and then when you open a tab (second attached example labeled "Prenatal Vitamins Page") you see each vitamin or mineral you should be ingesting when you are pregnant, depending on what you clicked on.
We don't have any specific instructions for the Blog/Article post page but it should have the same look/feel of the other pages.
What to avoid
We prefer softer colors/hues as opposed to something like hot pink or bright orange for example. We are open to colors in general.
