ID90 Travel is a B2B technology company providing a suite of airline employee travel solutions to airlines around the world. ID90 Travel’s innovative suite of web-based technology provides airlines and their employees with a comprehensive solution to manage every aspect of airline employee travel – from non-rev flight ticketing and listing to discount industry-only rates on hotels, resorts, rental cars, and cruises worldwide.
Our primary color is #2196f3, with #88359b as an accent/secondary. When gradients are used, we start #2196f3 at the top left and move diagonally to the bottom right ending at #88359b. Illustrations are preferred over lifestyle images (especially generic "tech/startup" stock images like server farms), but illustrations should also shy away from being "cartoony". This is a bespoke, high-dollar solution being sold to huge corporations. Non-rev / airline employee travel is a sore spot and a headache for many airlines. If possible, care should be taken with the design to try and project our confidence and competence - "we know this is a confusing headache for you. We've got this. We can make this easy and painless." However, don't make the mistake of going "full zen". We're not a yoga studio, either ;) For the voice and tone of the design (not copy - don't worry about the wording, we've got that) think warm, human, and fun, but not wacky. There's a fine balance to strike between "sterile" and "in-your-face" - hopefully you can find it!
Here are the elements we need to cover on the homepage: 1. At the top, we really like the idea of a full screen branding statement (see here for a very rough idea: https://www.figma.com/file/fidodNxPer69mg7nKOKKB5ch/WhyID90-Home-Screen) 2. The branding statement - however you choose to design it - should end with a CTA that directs users down lower on the page for more information about who we are and what we offer. 3. We have two major B2B service categories we want to sell, each of which has several sub-services: (A) Ticketing Solutions (which include online ticketing, interline ticketing, Company Business, Listing, etc., etc.,) and (B) Non-Air Solutions which can generate revenue for the airline (which includes hotels, rental cars, cruises, etc. - sort of like an Expedia.com but just for airline employees) 4. Testimonials - but please try and be creative about incorporating them. Three boxes in a row with little circle headshots isn't what we're going for. 5. Value props / why we're different from our competitors: - Their tech is old and breaks frequently - They're IBM. We're Tesla. - They don't offer customer service (literally). We have a 95%+ customer satisfaction rating. - We offer a mobile app, they don't. - We're proactive (we survey users, collect feedback, do betas, etc. to find and launch new features and improvements), they're reactive (they launch new features and improvements after people complain) 6. Mobile app should probably get its own callout/hero section somehow. It's a big differentiator for us.
What to avoid
- Please do not use "dark" color themes. - Please avoid as much as possible "here's a row of content, and here's another row of content, and here's a third row of content" layouts (like this, on our current site: http://interliner.id90travel.com/product-suite/air-solutions/) - If it looks like a standard Wordpress theme we could buy for $20 on Envato, the mark has been missed
Airline employee travel can be a little bit confusing (check out our current "air solutions" page and try not to go crosseyed: http://interliner.id90travel.com/product-suite/air-solutions/) so if you need help understanding, definitely ask!
