What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Looking for a very elegant website with highly impactful images and our text laid out in a clear, easily-read format. We do NOT want the traditional images you see in a financial services website; e.g. eye glasses resting on a folded Wall Street Journal, elderly couple looking lovingly at each other as they walk on a beach, etc. Our clientele skews a bit older, so the design, while not needing to be traditional, also can't be edgy. We'll want colorful, strong images, with good contrast between text and background for easy legibility. Some movement on the home page would be good, but not too much, and not too flashy. It should definitely not be too cluttered: many advisory firm websites are filled with way too many boxes, particularly on the home page, and that can be very distracting from the central message.
Home page. Logo on the top with links to 2-3 subsequent pages, as well as "Our Team", "Contact YBR", "Blogs/Newsletters, "Client Log-In"
What to avoid
See description box above.
One of the main themes in our website will be that people are on a financial journey, and they need a team of professionals to support them along this journey. It describes the process through which we work with our clients. The text shown in the 3-page mockup I attached above is likely the exact text we'll be using.
