[Homepage] Designed like Bench.co + GrooveHq.com homepage layout
This page needs to embody the highest quality, remembering our audience is students and parents who want to help their son or daughters improve their test scores, so that they can gain admission to the best private schools, colleges and graduate schools in the United States. The two most inspirational sites that embody high quality we've found are in bench.co, groovehq and desk.com; both of these sites emphasize the people and the improvements in one's lives as a result of working with their company.
Similarly, Stanford Test Prep's mission is to show how working with our tutoring program is a means to the end - gaining admission to the best schools. Remember, we work with three levels in our test prep: private schools/boarding, colleges, and graduate schools. Each need to be represented efficiently, and effectively. We want this homepage to emphasize the people behind our programs - i.e. the tutors, and the testimonials and images should be of happy parents. Make sure they're authentic looking photos and not just low quality stock imagery.
-The homepage should also have the "call-to-action" above the fold on top half of page, so that parents could enter their information simply - see Bench.co. But change to name, email, phone... then button (Click for Free Consultation)
-The buttons and call-to-action should also be in good looking red. DO NOT use the same button colors or styles as either Bench.co or Desk.com. These new buttons need to be large and prominent such that the user's eye gazes and clicks.
***We are big fans of "Responsive" HTML5 - so please keep this and the idea behind Flat, classier and minimalist design in mind when designing the homepage.***
First section of homepage: [Why STP?]
-This section should outline the three things mentioned in the main description, including our Top 1% one-on-one tutors and test prep programs, the admissions experts who work with the students to make sure their applications are perfect, and the summer programs which allow students to study at top universities like Stanford and Harvard University. We do like the general look and feel of both http://www.desk.com/why and https://bench.co/why-bench/bench-method.htm.
However, they need to be customized such that there is a clear representation of our values and mission for helping students gain admission to the best schools.
Second section of homepage: [Private School Admissions]
Stanford Test Prep offers SSAT and ISEE test prep to help students gain admission to the best private schools and boarding schools in America. It would be helpful to have both imagery and graphics to represent score increases and matching student testimonials. We also have summer programs to help students who are interested in accelerated and gifted/talented study at top colleges. STP always aims to help students get into the 95+ percentile on both the SSAT and ISEE.
Third section of homepage: [College Admissions]
Stanford Test Prep offers SAT, ACT and college admissions counseling to help students get into top 25 colleges and universities. In addition, we have innovative summer programs where students can study at top colleges. Currently, this program will be offered at Stanford University in 1 and 2 week blocks. STP always aims to get students into top colleges, and we've achieved spectacular results through one-on-tutoring and our innovative test prep program which includes more than 10,000 practice problems, 150 real exams, and custom study plans.
Fourth section of homepage [Graduate School Admissions]
Stanford Test Prep offers MCAT, DAT, LSAT, and GRE prep. Here we would like you to focus on the MCAT, and LSAT, which are the two largest. In fact, the imagery you chose should be on the MCAT (also known as the Medical College Admission Test). Our average score results are between 10 to 22 points for the MCAT.
Learn More at bottom of homepage: (https://basecamp.com/) This is where parents will be able to enter their contact information in order to learn more about Stanford Test Prep program. By entering their information, we want to ask them "Want to get into the best schools?" followed by Name, Email, Phone, Message for STP Team. Be sure to have the person on this page look academic and make sure their eye line is toward/facing the contact form for best optimization.
****Also, make sure to see the high quality footer of Bench.co and GrooveHQ. We want these sections to be organized efficiently, and leave a footer contact information section here. Please also include a link to a blog page and include social media icons Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Email. This will eventually be put into WPress, so keep best SEO practices in-mind.
