We help people write more powerful job applications. We review your cover letter, your resumé and your LinkedIn profile and give you personalized advice about what to improve to maximize your chances of getting a job interview. We focus on factors that are becoming increasingly important, like cultural fit, potential and personality. We're targeting professionals who are active in their choices about their career. They care about what they do, and why they do it. They work for instance in the creative businesses, finance, accounting, law or consulting. As a Cruited user, my innermost driving force is the desire to be free - free to find out who I am and become the person I want to be, by exploring the world around me. I want to experience a better, more authentic, more fulfilling life. I take life as a challenge, where I look for and engage in new things. There is a risk to get stuck in aimless wandering, or to be perceived as a misfit. I'm afraid to get stuck in a rut, to adapt myself too much and to feel an inner emptiness. My greatest talent is my independence, my ambition, my belief in myself and that I stand for who I am. Anyone who comes in contact with Cruited should feel invigorated. We show opportunities, provide new perspectives, new approaches and renewed energy. Our audience is those who believe in themselves, who know that they will get the job, who are interested to develop and continue to explore the world. They want to accomplish something - they think that the job will be much more than just a job.
Fresh, positive, playful, personalised. The service is personalised: it will be a career expert who will review your CV/cover letter/LinkedIn profile. At the same time, these career experts follow a scientific methodology. Google is a good example of a brand being fresh, positive, playful with a touch of science. Don't hesitate to use a completely different font for the logo (and everything else), than what's used on the existing website.
# General notes The header and footer when logged-in should not be the exact same as when not logged-in. The user should quickly feel either "I'm in my space", or "I'm on the public website". Still, both "logged in" and "public" pages should have a common identity of the cruited.com website. We want to convey the message that the "logged in" pages are a product, not just a public website. # Homepage https://docs.google.com/document/d/17xtrW9l4lmRARfP8VXCtYipIHxo-aiVZoucRyl1A_Tc # Assessment Report page https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uuBUijNVQRDELultUYbAnDuOGlNHF-JW5Bh6KhXHc7Y # Product selection page Please be creative here. Don't base your design on the existing page. And you don't need to base it exactly on the mockups either. The point is: there are three products that can be ordered (review of cover letter, of resumé, of LinkedIn profile). Each of them exist in three editions (young professional, professional, executive). And the price is different depending on how many (1, 2 or 3) that you order. The concept in the mockups feels better than the current site, but it's far from perfect. And for instance the checkbox used in the mockups feels extremely ugly. It would be awesome if you can find something better. # Dashboard home Based on the mockups, not on the existing page. (We will be adding more details to this later.) # Content-heavy sub-page Details to be added later. (We will be adding more details to this later.)
The pages to design are specified in the mockups (see included file). We want all designed pages to be in English - not Swedish (please refer also to the "Page descriptions" section in this brief). Please indicate animations as comments on your designs. If you want to see how the current reports look like: 1. Access https://cruited.com/users 2. Login with username "firstname.lastname@example.org" and password "testaccount" 3. Click on button "View". Don't necessarily base your design on the existing website. If we ask for a redesign, it's precisely because we want it to look ten times better. Each designed page should feature at least two form factors: mobile portrait 320px wide + standard monitor (just like on the mockups - see included file). The mockups are there to give an idea of the possible user actions, and what information is to be displayed in each page. This does not mean that the layout of the mockups must necessarily be followed!!! If you come up with a better layout, go for it. As long as the design matches the listed user actions and as long as it displays the information that we need to communicate to the user, FEEL FREE TO BE CREATIVE. # Important message to finalists This brief has been updated so that potential copy is provided, in English. Therefore you can fully avoid "lipsum" text. How the final round will be organised: 1. Start this stage by re-downloading the latest mockups and re-reading the "Content details" section of this brief. Then, continue the work on the Homepage + Assessment Report page. After this stage we will keep 4 out of the 6 finalists. Deadline: start of final round + 48h. 2. Start this stage by re-downloading the latest mockups and re-reading the "Content details" section of this brief. Then, design the Product Selection page. After this stage we will keep 2 out of the 4 remaining finalists. Deadline: end of previous stage + 36h. 3. Start this stage by re-downloading the latest mockups and re-reading the "Content details" section of this brief. Then, design the Dashboard Home & Content-heavy Sub-page. Deadline: end of final round (= end of previous stage + 36h) At that point, we choose the winner between the 2 remaining finalists. Please do all your design in Hi DPI (double resolution). For example, for a 320px wide design, the delivered assets should be 640px wide. If you use a grid (or any other technique to structure content/design) please include it (as a layer or something like that). We expect source design files to be delivered. We can take files from: - Adobe Photoshop - Adobe Illustrator - Adobe Fireworks
