Step by Step SEO
Step by Step SEO is a business to business organic SEO do it yourself service web application that helps local and small businesses perform their own high value organic SEO activities. We have often wanted to provide a cost effective way for smaller businesses not only to understand how SEO works but to actually accomplish their own SEO in an affordable way - we think we have found a way through our new web application Step by Step.
What do we mean by Web 2.0 design - We realize Web 2.0 is more of an interactive term referring to how the user interacts with the site, however, what we mean by it is design related - gradient graphics using vibrant color palettes; rounded corners where appropriate; above the fold design; etc.
Essentially, we are looking for something that would look just as good on an iPad as it does on a computer. There are many sites provided below which we consider to be good Web 2.0 design
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our customers are looking for a way to make their sites more relevant to search engines by performing high value white hat SEO activities. Most often they are small business owners and entrepreneurs who have more time than they have money - they are the "bootstrappers" of the world!
Other customers who can take advantage of our services are those who have employees that can perform the easy to accomplish high value activities which we identify through our web application. These specific activities will make a significant improvement to their organic and local search engine rank even if they only spend a couple of hours each month on them.
Another niche we believe will take advantage of our application will be SEO companies which will use our application to identify focused activities for use with their own clients. There will be an option to "White Label" the reports and output so that these activities and the reports generated by our application look like they are coming from our customer rather than us.
Finally, some of our customers after doing these tasks themselves for a period of time may find value in having Step by Step accomplish the "dirty work" of performing and reporting these activities for & to them on a monthly basis for larger fee.
The primary goal of our web design is to increase conversions. That is, we would like our visitors to either sign up for a free 30 day trial of our DIY - Basic service or one of our paid services. Within 15 minutes of signing up they will receive their first set of initial activities to begin work on in order to improve their local and organic SEO rankings based on their chosen target keywords. Therefore, a clear call to action must be prominent and easily found in at least two places above the fold, for example, refer to the wire frame in the Hero graphic and the furthest right Feature element below the Hero graphic.
We are looking for designers who are looking to make a big impact with this design - please feel free to use and experiment with color, we are currently not committed to a particular scheme - we would like you to utilize Web 2.0 design standards, create a simple and clean layout, we are looking for stunningly designed logos, icons, images, & graphics. Of course, all rights to all elements created and used for the design will need to be transferred to AdegoSoft from the chosen winner.
The final design must be in vector format and sliceable because it will be passed to a developer, who will code the design into a custom CMS.
