I require a talented designer to come up with a design for the home page of a site offering first aid training. The design must be bold and attention grabing though incorporate text areas for content rather than just being a glossy magazine. I also require a second page framework that can be used for the rest of the site themed to match the home page.
This website will be offering training courses for the EFR qualification which you can view the official site here: http://www.emergencyfirstresponse.com/
Although you can be creative and come up with some fresh ideas my initial thoughts were to have a large red cross '+' on the page and this would divide the are into 4 distinct areas. Each of these areas would offer a different form of EFR training.
The four distinct sections are EFR for Diving. EFR Pirmary and Secondary Care, EFR for Children, EFR in the workplace. This needs to look attractive but also have plenty of space for text content for the purposes of SEO and search engine ranking.
We are allowed to re-use the logos of the official EFR site and need to include this software. The site also needs it's own identity and the company is called EFR Greece. It will be in two languages, english and greek so you need to include the two flags on the page - these will end up being links to different language versions.
The design work is for the front page of a website and a second framework page that can be used for contendt for the rest of the pages with a common layout/theme. The designer that completes this work well will be offered the chance to complete up to 6 other projects that need immediate attention.
*** I will pay a bonus of $100 for the winning design to be turned into a tableless XHTML and CSS design (validation W3C)
- Item 1...The final delivered design must be in photoshop using layering to allow for post tweaks by myself if required.
- Absolutely no templates or designs that look like templates! This must be original work.
