How realtimedine started their web page design journey
Real Time Dine
We are a small, bootstrapped startup based out of Los Angeles. We connect those in our city (and other cities soon) to their favorite and new place to eat and drink through the real time web - namely twitter, foursquare and other social services. we provide a new, organized and filtered method for local discovery and staying in touch. That combined with editorial content, video and other magazine-like features makes us an exciting new way to explore the city.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
18-49 - hip, urban, web/tech savvy. people who go out and have an active social life. to start, this will be based in LA, but will soon extend to other populated urban markets in the US and then eventually, abroad.
the site must look good and sharp - easy on the eye and engaging. i've attached a screenshot of what the site looks like now. you MUST design a web template that takes incorporate and allows for all the data shown in the screenshot. basically, take the data as it is, and lay it out with better colors, styles, design elements, etc.
when in doubt, please send me messages to confirm... but can not use any designs that dont include the screenshot data in the layout.
- the time
- the 6 entries up top
- the fresh deals text box
- the "welcome to.. right now"
- the right nav categories.
feel free to please re-imagine the page layout... but include those things.
finally - does not need to be orange/grey colors in screenshot or ai file. feel free to pick new colors in design.
