Daily Variance
I am an author who specializes in writing poker books. My goal is to build a publishing company that sells poker books, poker ebooks, and poker software.
I like a sleek vibrant theme but at the same time, have a personal touch with my readers through a blog. This is really important. A sample of a blog style that I like is http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/
The target audience is mostly poker players. Some visit the site to learn about books and poker software. Some visit the site to read my blog. Some visit our forums. I want to create a community where my readers can discuss any topics.
One important note is to not make cheesy poker site designs. I do not want that. I want a design that reflects a professional publishing company.
I want an e-commerce design.
You don't need to provide the code (PHP, but will expect basic HTML of the design). I will get a developer to take care of it.
I want the site to have a professional feel. I also want a clean design.
I want it to have a look of an online publishing store.
I want to have a shopping cart since it is an online store.
I like having a red and black theme.
I want to have a forum.
I want a blog network where I can blog and my visitors can create blogs too if they like.
I want a newsletter subscriber option. As well as links to Facebook, RSS feed, and Twitter.
I want a menu composed of blog, forum, books, poker tools, videos, and about us. Basically, I want to sell books/software.
I will likely add more categories down the future so keep in that mind.
I want to have a small box on the main page where I can put a short video or some type of flash animation.
I want to have the word support and a 1-800-357-6075 at the top.
I want to have a place for the "Live Support" icon at the top.
One important note is do not make cheesy poker site designs. I do not want that. I want a design that reflects a professional publishing company.
