How Ajessup started their web page design journey
Quotify.com.au is an Australian web based business, that matches customers looking for home improvement or professional services, to high quality service providers who are looking for customers. We've been running since 2006, and to date have matched over 150,000 customers to over 3,000 suppliers.
We operate in 40 categories from painters to printers, and are nationwide across Australia.
We're now expanding our successful site to encourage even more suppliers to join our network, and we're looking for some great designs to help professionally yet compellingly sell our product.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are currently expanding our online portal for services providers to discover and join our network. Our service providers are typically small business professionals both from "blue collar" industries such as painting and plumbing, and from "white collar" industries such as accounting and lawyers.
This project is for a new feature of our existing website. The feature is designed to show off our product to prospective customers through a series of dynamically generated pages that show our activity in various categories and locations.
We require a design that is consistent with the look and feel of our existing site, for a new page.
Important to note:
* The screens MUST fit within the existing CMS template that we are using for the site at http://www.quotify.com.au/partners/. The attached screenshot shows what areas of the template we can adjust for this project and which ones we can't. Please ask if you're unclear.
* The design must obviously be reasonably consistent with the CMS template we're using, but feel free to be a bit creative :)
* The screens MUST include all the elements in the wireframe provided, although you can be creative about how they are positioned and the various dimensions. Again, please ask if you're unclear.
* The majority text on the page will eventually need to be rendered using web-friendly fonts, particularly those that are likely to change (such as the names of locations, industries, statistics etc.)
Number of pages
Please refer to the wireframe of SCREEN 5 ("Carpet Cleaning in the Petersham Area") in the attached PDF for details.
We are only looking for a design for SCREEN 5 - the last screen in the attached PDF. We do NOT require designs for screens 3 and 4 just yet (but we will later...).
This page will be dynamic, the information on the page such as the location (in this example, Petersham), the industry (in this example, Carpet Cleaning) and all the relevant statistics and graphs will all be dynamically generated depending on the location and industry of interest.
Visitors will approach this page both directly from search engines, and also from browsing within the Quotify site itself.
