Design of a language exchange events website

Education

I organise language exchange events, principally using a Speed Dating like concept to make one-to-one conversations between native speakers fun and productive. For example, a French and English evening will involve several pairs of native English and French speakers, speaking for 8 minutes in English and 8 minutes in French before moving onto the next partner. The website is essential for maintaining a 1-to-1 balance for each event, controlled by an online booking system. The event is charged and includes a free drink, and for each participant a donation is given to the World Food Programme to feed one child in need for one day. I also organise a free language exchange event BlaBla World for all nationalities to meet, share and become familiar with the principal concept. BlaBla referring to casual conversation and Lingo meaning language.

Simple design, warm colours, rounded borders, easy to understand and modern. Wider layout ( eg. 1400 px ) . The website needs to be filled with colour , we don't want white colour to dominate the website.

Please see schematic plan attached which includes homepage and landing page. Landing page will contain a larger map but it doesn't need to look like a google map in some way , and from there user will choose a city and they will be redirected to a Homepage. Homepage is based on particular city selected by user.

We would like a design as soon as possible , designer can deviate slightly from sketches in order to create room for more creativity. I would like to keep communication with regards to this.
