Create a new website design for a Venture Capital firm

We are a venture capital firm based in the Bay Area. We invest in technology startups. Our audience is made up of entrepreneurs, investors, technologists, and other industry observers.

The site should communicate our content and imagery clearly and incorporate modern design elements. We also want to incorporate subtle embellishments that make the site unique (for example, unique interaction design for the images home page). The site should also be responsive. From a content perspective, we'd like to highlight our firm's focus areas, the companies we’ve invested in, and our team. The focus areas (advertising technology, financial technology & cybersecurity) should come across on the home page, and we will also create individual pages for each area that goes into more detail on our strategy, our investments in that area, and our relevant research / blog posts. We want the site to incorporate our existing logo (found on thomvest.com) and colors (orange and grey).

Home page: Brief overview of our firm, photos of the people we work with, description of our focus areas Focus area page: Showcases one sector we invest in, the companies in that sector, research we've published, and blog posts we've written. Team page: Photos of our team and bios that are viewable when a user clicks on the photo Portfolio page: logos of our portfolio companies and descriptions that are viewable when a user clicks a logo Contact us page: Simple page that includes our address and a form to contact the team.
