We need a look defined for this site. The products they are selling are different and high quality, and therefore they want the site to not look like an ordinary site. At that point, I have no idea where to go, that's where you, the designer, comes in! :)
There is a base site at http://BrendaJune.com. Feel free to review it. It is a temporary layout, so no need to follow the constraints of that site. We like the sidebar pictures of the nurses because it allows the uniforms to be shown off, but if you've got a better way to convey the "Brenda June Philosophy" feel free to change it. This line in the header "Performance apparel with ART healing for the medical profession." is not necessary to bring over to the new site.
Wanting to convey that a Nurse can be professional, respected, and attractive at the same time. Had bandied around the concept of "The Fusion of Florence (Nightingale) and Fashion."
The logo and the lips are fixed (and trademarked). Because of the color of the logo, we're pretty much limited to putting the logo on a white background, but certainly open to ways to put the logo on a color or texture. A stark white background was used on the current website for primarily for this reason, the site you design does not need to be all white.
Want the site to convey warm, caring, professional, and feminine. Willing to consider slight adjustments to color of logo and lips if it helps look to be more cohesive.
Lips, which are trademarked, will be embroidered on all clothing (see photo shoot pictures for reference).
Currently using Lato font as the heading / sub head font, but that can be changed.
Open on any navigation structure. Don't have a lot of pages in mind, but you know how that changes... So lay out the navigation any way that you see fit, but remember, we
Yes: Attractive, Feminine, Professional
No: Cute, Flirty, Fun
Another element that makes Brenda June different is that a ortion of proceeds will be donated to their sister non-profit organization "Brenda June Cares for Prostate Cancer Awareness". That information should be somewhat prominent as a reminder that customers will be looking good and doing good.
Would prefer that this work be done in vector format, but willing to go with a raster file format if designer prefers.
I try to leave feedback multiple times a day to keep the contests moving forward.
