We're working on a new ePrescription system and we need a clean fresh design that's functional sophisticated.
The page that I'd like designed is the Patient Page (see attachment). This is the main page of the system and therefore it's a very important page for us as it will drive the design style for the rest of the site.
We like the minimalist clean approach that helps the user to see all the information clearly and find important things quickly and easily.
I've attached a wireframe for the Patient Page that has all the information that will need to be on the design.
Please note that information under the "Patient Information" header will vary from patient to patient, i.e. Some patients will have lots of allergies whilst others will have none. The same is true of Active Problems and Active Medication. There can be only one Retail and one Mail Order pharmacy per patient.
Please note that Allergies must always be displayed in RED and bold.
Feel free to move the patient information panel from the left and place it as you think is best. The same is true for any other element on the wireframe.
The only thing you should take from this wireframe is the information that will need to be on the final design. Everything else can be changed according to what you think is best.
The design should be created to fit a minimum resolution of 1024x768.
Please use the logo-placeholder.jpg and the samplePatient.jpg images provided in the design.
Please note that there are 3 main action buttons on the Medication History panel. These 3 action buttons (Discontinue, Complete, EIE) will affect only the select rows when they are clicked. Therefore I'd like the design to make it clear that these buttons are related to the first column of the grid. A good way to do this is to have a little triangle pointing downwards into the column heading of the first column (see the actionButtons.jpg for an example of how this can be done).
Feel free to play around with the color scheme. The company logo and colors are light blue as in the sample logo. Whatever you do use fresh clean colors and avoid dark and heavy.
