1. Website Template
Create a website template using Website_Design_Requirements.png as the basis of your design. It is very important that you use this design as your starting block. We would prefer it if your designs could take this attached png design and lift, polish and turn it into something really professional. Therefore you can either follow the design and concept of this png (safer and recommended approach) or if you dare, you can try and show us something much, much better and hope we see the light. We are keen to see them all. However we tend to feel that the winning design will be one that adheres to our recommendations.
2. Example Designs
To illustrate examples of an implementation of the design we are looking for please see:
The current and attached logo must be used in the new design. This is not negotiable. This is our current approved logo and we want it. A high quality transparent png is included for use in the design. Please note it is white, so unless put on a dark background you can't see anything.
3. Tag Line
This tag line must be used, as per "Example_Homepage_Design.png": Think Apps, Think Semantics, Think Kudos. We expect this to appear up the top, near the logo. We love the words, the font and size as per "Example_Homepage_Design.png" so please use it exactly. I will attempt to get a high quality transparent png of this as well. To follow.
4. Background Color
The attached background_gradient.jpg is our preferred background color. We would prefer it if the new design could use this color as the background. This is our current background as used at kudosknowledge.com and we like it. Also the white logo looks good on it.
5. Columns / Layout
The design must incorporate all the column combinations defined in the "Website_Design_Requirements.png".
These are as follows:
i) 2 column (1st column is double width)
ii) 3 column (equal widths)
iii) 1 column
iv) 2 column (equal widths)
v) 2 column (2nd column is double width)
It is very important that the design incorporates the above column combinations so that they can be applied to the varying and extensive web page layouts we will use in our website.
