We are launching a new brand of high-end artisan perfumes. Our target audience are Chinese customers in Mainland China and Hong Kong. Our customers would be women in the mid-20s to 40s with high income, who think of themselves as sophisticated and trendy but not a trend follower, are well educated and cultured, and are international and well traveled (or aspire to world travels).
We have a development website in the works. (http://www.mediacake.net/cake123/imzadi-dev/). It is about 70% completed and is currently under development, so many pages are not yet finalized, and a few pages will be reloaded and changed entirely.

We need to create a Chinese Home Page that takes into account the Chinese' preferences for website visiting experiences. The language of the page will be in Chinese, although designer can use English when designing the page. Our team can change all text to Chinese when page is completed. If designer can read & write Chinese, we hope the site will use HeiTi font.We already have an English Home Page that we plan to use for our site (as see in our demo site still under development.) What we need from this contest is a Home Page that meets that internet use habits of the Chinese. The Chinese want all information immediately accessible on the Home Page. We need the page to basically presents all major Topics listed on our Menu Bar (as well as some Subtopics under those Topics) on the Chinese Home Page. Each Topic or Subtopic shall be presented as a section or a big tab (with images and text within the section or tab, as well as html links to the relevant webpage) . The Chinese prefer the Home Page to be one single page that scrolls down (even if it goes on and on and on) to include all information. They want the brand message and all information of the site to be immediately visible on the Home Page so they don't have to search the rest of the site. At the same time, they demand that the information and visual images presented on the Home Page should be interesting enough to entice them to visit the rest of the site, even though they say the don't have time and don't want to visit the rest of the site. Stylistically, we want to try to keep a clean, elegant look as much as possible despite the amount of information that must be presented on the Chinese Home Page. We want to adapt to the Chinese' internet use habits, without compromising on style. We need to keep the heading currently used for all our webpages to maintain consistency. To the extent possible, the style of the Chinese Home Page should not clash with the style of the rest of our site. Beyond that, the designer can create any template and layout to meet our design requirements. We have text and visual images that we have uploaded for the designer to use. Designer may also suggest other visual images.
What to avoid
We do not want any Flash content. Our logo name and logo mark are uploaded. We've uploaded some photos here that we like. The photos have specific file names to indicate what topic they are supposed to go with. However, if designer has suggestions for different photos that are not provided by us, we would be happy to take a look and consider those too.
