Completed contest

Completing and coding a website design: Geek Shop needed a new web page design and created a contest on 99designs.

A winner was selected from 4 designs submitted by 2 freelance designers.

How started their web page design journey

We started a contest for our website design a while ago, but the winning designer stopped responding shortly after he got the money. He did not finish some elements of the page, which are now needed in the same style as he designed the other pages. Additionally, we need someone to code the page in good quality HTML/CSS.

We started a contest for our website redesign a while ago, but the winning designer stopped responding shortly after he got the money. This is the contest we are talking about:
The winning designer did not finish some elements of the page, which is why we need someone who can take over his work. His complete work can be downloaded here: You can find the source files and some basic HTML presentation in this archive, please have a look at the file index.html and click on the picture to see all designed pages so far. The Pacman next to the checkout button should start a short animation every two minutes, you can have a look at the idea in the file pacman_an/1_preview/pacman1.html
This is what is missing in the design:
- The Pacman animation should be changed so that the Pacman is not visible behind the checkout button, it should just disappear when coming to the border of the checkout button
- In the file onIMAGE_index_optimized.html you can find a popup, which is visible when the user moves the mouse over a product image (as can also be found on now). This popup should also contain the price of the product. Please be aware that there can be more than one price for one product (just have a look at product1.html and product2.html for an example). There are also products with only one price. Additionally, the popup should contain availability information (in stock. not in stock, with nice symbols like on the product detail page).
- We need the design for the address page of the order process in the same style as the other pages. This page should contain everything that is also included on the current address page which is the page that comes directly after the shopping cart in the order process.
Additionally, we need HTML/CSS code:
We need fully working HTML/CSS code of all pages included in the archive plus the new address page, but except the popup page (so there is no need to program the Javascript for this). The code should be W3C compliant and search engine optimized.
We want the page to stretch to full screen width with all screen resolutions (as it is with our current page). In principal, this should be done by just stretching the content part (the part between the two navigation bars left and right). Inside this content part, we need to fully use the space. For the product details pages, this can be done by just stretching the product description box and leaving the rest as it is. For the shopping cart, this is more or less the same, just stretch the product list. The address page should be easy, too. More complicated are the product overview pages. Here, we would be very happy to have an effect like on our shirt page ( but that page has the disadvantage that there is a gap between the last shirt and the border of the white background box if the width does not fit (see orange box in this PDF: It would be really great if this gap could be avoided by continuously increasing the item box width until there is enough space for a new box. Javascript could be needed for this. If this is not possible, please tell us and we might accept another solution.
The rest of the HTML/CSS should reflect the functionality which can be found on our current page. For example, the button "Information" in the left navigation bar should create new navigation options or the tabs on the product detail pages should change the content (but you don't have to code this content). In addition to the current functionality, there should be a mark which page is currently displayed next to the corresponding link in the left navigation bar (this is also a small design task).
Please note that we need dynamic content for all pages, you can't count on the width of the text, etc. Please also note that the content in the middle must work with all HTML pages, for example, a table with width 100% should not mess up the design.
Please upload your address page design as the 99designs entry and please upload the other designs and the HTML/CSS code to some webspace of yours. Thanks for participating!
