Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
CanaDream is a tourism company which promotes Canada as a destination and enables our Guests to experience Canada at your own pace in a motorhome, rv or trailer. Target audience is couples, groups and families age 21+. Our current demographic tends to be 35+ but, as well as keeping that audience, we would like to get more people in the 21-35 age bracket to travel with us.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Website is to follow current best practices. The vibe should be a fun, vacation style of site - people having fun experiencing Canada at their own pace. While we promote ourselves as a tourism company selling Canada, for SEO purposes we need to use the words RV Rentals and RV Sales on our site so this should be taken into account in any menu added to the site. It needs to be evident on the site that our business is providing RVs for our Guests to travel Canada but the RV is not to be the main focus of images - if RVs are included in scenery images they will be secondary to the image focus. Our primary corporate colours are:
Red: Websafe #cc0033
Blue: Websafe #003366
Secondary colours can be at the discretion of the designer.
Our current website is cluttered leaving the visitor not knowing what it is they are meant to do on the site - there are too many choices from the home page. Simplifying this would be good.
Our current site is covering RV Rentals, RV Sales, RV Storage and RV Service - it would be nice to break these categories down into more manageable bites so that a web visitor only gets the information they have come to the site for (e.g. Rentals or Sales or whatever)
Homepage - introduction to site etc
Hot Deals page - this page features special pricing on RV vacations and changes as inventory increases and decreases.
Suggested Tours itinerary pages - you need to dig a little deeper here - there is a map page followed by a province page and then we'd like you to come up with a better design for the individual tour itinerary pages.
Rent an RV - http://www.canadream.com/rvRentals.aspx?id=438 - we would like a less cluttered way to compare the different RV types available.
We really don't know what current best practice is for websites but do know that the site we now have needs to be brought up to date. We are open to all suggestions. Our brand guidelines are attached.
