The amendments made by Ute to our page were approved from first try so here we are again completing another successful 1-1 project :) Thank you very much for the great work!
Working with winningentry was awesome! They were not only the winner we selected but they were incredibly easy to work with throughout the process. When others would submit one or two ideas winningentry would submit 5 or more. Then went the extra mile in everything they did for us. This was a great experience working with them. And the logo they designed turned out to be something we really wanted to have through this contest. Working with designers can be challenging but they took our input and feedback and made changes until we got what we really wanted. I give them 5 stars for their effort and the experience working with them.
How Dimavandewouw started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We offer a search platform for people who want to find and book an accommodation on a campsite.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Calming and classic look, pastel colors, targeting a large audience of age 27-55 with an average education.
The current design has a few flaws; it's far too busy, the header image takes up a big space. It doesn't scale (width or mobile wise).
We're also thinking about changing the colour scheme a little. What colours would you pick? Some shade of green with a shade of aqua?
Some sort of search functionality to help the user search. Either the already selected options or additional other popular options. Maybe also the previously shown campsites.
We'd like to redesign the homepage (/).
The "search with a list" page (/zoekcampingsoplijst/). we're mainly focussed on helping visitors find a campsite. We will get a commission if a user clicks on a booking banner and books at another website. So we're less focussed on prices.
The campsite page (/camping/3249/iris_parc_le_chene_gris/) shows information about the campsite when it is selected.
What to avoid
Sharp or dark colours or very busy pages
We'd like to redesign the homepage (/), the search using a list page (/zoekcampingsoplijst/) and the campsite page (/camping/3249/iris_parc_le_chene_gris/).
